The development of his unique style is the result of a lifetime of musical influence. Growing up in the church choir and competing in local talent shows from the age of six meant that B. Sincere was always surrounded by different forms of music. Traveling and competing in singing competitions, which he won, exposed him to a wealth of musical knowledge, which influenced his development.
B. Sincere’s musical journey did not begin in Charlotte. Born in New York, it was here that he developed his musical tastes and interests, and it was not long after picking up a microphone that he was experimenting with his vocal talent.
After realizing that making music was his main goal, he began to showcase his talent in various venues across the Carolinas and Atlanta, performing at numerous gigs and making sure that his name and music were being heard by as many people as possible. He was quickly noted for the unique style of R&B mixed with Soul, and his popularity began to grow.
As his confidence grew and his style developed, he soon saw a loyal following begin to grow and he became a popular local hit in the Charlotte music scene. His talent with the ability to sing different genres only added to his appeal, and his unique R&B sound with a twist started to find an appreciative audience.
Some notable achievements include touring with national recording artist Big Mike from Day 26, being nominated for the Underground Music Awards, opening up for Sunshine Anderson and Anthony Hamilton, recording one of his songs with BET’s “One Shot” winner, Numeral 3, and most recently taking home the coveted Queen City Music Award for Best Male R&B Artist of 2020.
