My name is Latoisha Deans known as TOISHA.THEMODEL from Charlotte NC. I am first a mom to 2 boys, Naji (21) and Nasir (9) and then a Model.
Modeling has always been a dream of mine, but school, my kids and career came first, so at the age of 38 in 2013 when I thought all odds were against me, I decided to just go for it and almost 7 years later thankful I did and still building my brand.
I work in all areas of modeling but my main focus and love is print. I am a multi-published cover model, centerfold and back page holder with features in over 25 magazines. My personal calendars and posters have been shipped from NY down to TX on the east coast and out to LA on the west coast. I am a Brand Ambassador whose work has been posterized throughout Golden East Crossing Mall and I also do runway, hosting, videos, model coaching and more. Becoming a model has opened up other wonderful opportunities such as acting, radio and most importantly becoming an entrepreneur and starting my own Custom Lighters by Latoisha as a way to promote my brand and help other models and artists promote theirs. In 2018 I started working with Blue Diamond Entertainment as a model recruiter, coach and personal assistant to the CEO for all bookings and events.
My work and inspiration to others have gotten me nominated consecutive years for Model of the Year in my hometown of Wilson, NC and here in Charlotte for the Queen City Awards. My message to others is it’s never to late to live your dream, you only live once…. Go For It!!!
