When you’re 28-years-old and newly retired the NFL, most people would think you’d be traveling the world, riding camels, hosting yacht parties and such. And maybe most people probably would be, but not Marshawn Lynch.

The former Seattle Seahawks running back is showcasing his talents elsewhere! Recently, he went off to Haiti to assist former teammate Cliff Avril, and other NFL players, in building homes and schools for children. The hopes for constructing the school is to teach kids about health and wellness, as well as, to symbolize the importance of education.

Avril took the foundation to Haiti, in Honor of his parents that emigrated to the United States in the early 1980s. Lynch will also be assisting in partnering with Haitian doctors to create a medical mobile clinic, and running a football camp… “even though, Haitian children don’t usually gravitate to American football, it gives the local kids a chance to see what Haitians in American are up to,” says Avril.

“It’s awesome to have their support, it’s awesome to be in a situation where guys are willing to take that step with you,” the former Seahawks defensive end shares. “Marshawn wants to help actually build the schools out there. There’s a lot of good guys in the NFL … It’s cool to have these guys’ support.”

That’s what’s up fellas!! Way to do it B.I.G.!!!!
