Multitalented recording artist, Jamar Gibson, better known as Sir Jay aRe blasted into the music scene performing at the Unity Concert, Apostrophe Lounge, Indie Connection, The New Charlotte Concert and the NC Music Movement Fest. Since then, he has performed live with Jamison, Rich The Kid, Mr. Cheeks, TK n Cash and Dinero Farrar. Sir Jay aRe is an American singer, songwriter, poet, producer, & musical engineer; who “…creates what people want in order to give them what they need…” by fusing country, soft rock, rap, metal, punk rock and gospel influences into his unique eclectic sound.
Shortly after hitting the music scene at 18 Sir Jay aRe launched Face 2 Face Ent., which became a full service entertainment studio and management company for artists. Sir Jay aRe’s hardcore work ethic later established Face 2 Face Foundation, an organization to bring back the essence of music and build a setting for change in the artist community. With industry influences like P. Diddy, Michael Jackson, 50 Cent, Jay-Z and NAS- Sir Jay aRe developed a lyrically brilliant style into his experimental hip hop productions, including his latest EP, A Different Breed of N.E.G.R.O, Never Ending Greatness, Regardless Of featuring his most recent singles “Stack Up”, “U Know It’s Me” and “F*** Love”.
Sir Jay aRe’s passion for this current project created his independent clothing line N.E.G.R.O. Wear, an edgy urban look for men and women, which combine his northern roots from Rochester, NY to his southern living in Charlotte, NC. Never shy of a joke, the comical Sir Jay aRe, made a song parody of Trap N***** by Future called Fat N*****, which he released August 2015- within days reached thousands of views. With performances that compare to the likes of Busta Rhymes, Usher and Big Krit- there is no denying his powerful energy and charisma reflect his raw sound. He often tells people that “…my reasoning to make music is different; my vision is different.
